Hi, I’m Amie — a certified personal trainer, wellness coach, and nutrition coach with a passion for helping women build strength, confidence, and sustainable health.
A few years ago, my own body forced me to slow down. I was navigating autoimmune challenges, nervous system dysregulation, and the pressure to push through exhaustion. Through intentional movement, wellness practices, mental health support, and somatic therapy, I rebuilt my relationship with my body — learning how to train in a way that supported healing rather than depletion.
That experience shaped everything I do.
I founded Ascend Training to create a fitness & wellness space rooted in education, compassion, and long-term wellbeing. My coaching emphasizes mobility, strength, mind-to-muscle-connection, proper movement mechanics, and nervous-system-aware training so women can feel capable in their bodies without extremes or burnout.
This website is an extension of that philosophy. Here, you’ll find thoughtfully designed training programs, practical wellness guidance, and insights into building a balanced, resilient lifestyle, whether you’re training at home, in the gym, or on the go.
You don’t need perfection or rigid rules. You need clarity, consistency, and support that adapts to real life. I’m here to help you move better, feel stronger, and live with more ease and confidence.
My approach to personal training is rooted in understanding the real challenges many women face: past injuries, limited time, health concerns, and the frustration of not knowing what actually works for their body.
Discomfort during exercise often comes from improper movement patterns rather than a lack of effort. I focus on helping clients move well first by improving mobility, correcting imbalances, and building strength in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and pain-free. As confidence in movement grows, consistency follows.
Wellness goes beyond physical training. It includes mental wellbeing, stress management, self-awareness, and self-compassion. By building a healthy relationship with movement, clients are able to pursue their goals without burnout. The goal is gaining not just physical strength, but confidence and resilience that carry into everyday life.
At Ascend Training, I work with women across a wide range of ages and experience levels. Every program is personalized, whether the focus is mobility, strength, or overall wellness. The goal is never perfection but progress, support, and long-term success that fits real life.
